73 comet manual to power brakes swap

    Will a setup from a 75 maverick work and clear the shock tower? I've been reading that s the first year that was available on these cars.

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    Underhood dimensions are exactly same on all years... The brake pedal assembly is totally different, need the P/B unit and no doubt the brake lines as fitting size differs between year & type of system...

    I understand 96-o4 Mustangs had hydroboost. Did anyone take a look at that? It basically uses the power brake pump to power a hydraulic cylinder rather than using vacuum. :bouncy:

    Whoops. That should read “uses the power steering pump to power a hydraulic cylinder” I noticed there are brand new kits avaiable. Has anyone adapted one to a Maverick or Comet?
