could this be of any use to me? aside from a drive line and maybe some bucket seats would there be any reason for me to try to talk this guy down? its a little too rusty for any kind of project i would want to undertake even though ive alwys wanted a turino:yup:

yeah, i think im gonna let that one go. not enough on it to justsify me buying it for that kind of price and its too far gone, at least for me, to try to fix up.

hope it finds a good home :)

I like Torinos, but the '73 was the ugliest one ever made...

If you could get it for $500-600 you'd have a good 302/c4.E-bay stuff like the 9",rear bumper, doors, disc brakes and then junk the rest. That is if you had the time/tools/place to do all of that.

if the car spent its whole life up here in this area im sure there isnt a clean piece of sheetmetal on that entire car. for that green im sure i could find something more profitable to part out. Ive actually been buying up '78-88 GM G-bodies, keeping what i want for my cutlass and regal and sellling off the rest. there a little newer and still most of those from around here are beat

offer the guy $500 and pull the engin, tranny and rear, sell anything else you can salvage off of it and call one of those "we haul junk cars for free" places to get rid of the carcass.

74 torino probably has A/C parts on it too.

in case nobody noticed A/C is the only option on a car that I care about you can keep power windows, seats, and even the auto tranny is not important, but Summertime in Maryland 90% humidity I like my A/C.....Now when I move to Montana in the future I prolly won't care as much because the humidity out there is really low and 80 degrees is actually not that hot when you're only at 25-30% humidity.

yeah, the ac dfinatly is a nice touch. i wouldnt mind power windows though. nice to not have to lean over and crank up the pass. side window. nice to not have to do any cranking at all. impersonal friends with a junkyard/impound owner. i drop alot of my crap off with him, building up my account, so when something good comes in I can make a withdraw haha
