74 mav steering column

    I just got my first mav and the guy i got it from broke the steering column so i need to see if anyone knows what years and or other ones will work my car is a 1974 2 door it has a 3 on the tree right now but i will be putting it on the floor thanks

    '72 Comet, '75 Maverick, '85 F150 4x4 ,'93 F150,'75 F100,'77 Jeep Wagoneer,'91 Dodge D250 Cummins,'90 F150 xtra cab 4x4, '93 F150 4x4
    All maverick/comet columns will physically bolt in.2 differences I'm aware of though;
    the 69.5 has the key switch in the dash,so no way to start your car with one of those
    The wiring plugs are different between 69.5-72 and 73 up columns.So try to get a 73-up column.(I think those years are right,someone correct me if I'm wrong)

    Some are "plumbed" for column shift with a rotating collar, some are not.

    Sorry, I just threw away a decent steering column about 4 weeks ago...never thought it was a desired part...:huh:
