'75 Maverick Turn Signal Switch

    Okay, here's my question, and I'm sorry if this has already been answered somewhere but ...

    We have a '75 Maverick that needs a new turn signal switch. A friend of mine has a newer Maverick and is willing to send the part, but we need to know if this is an interchangeable part or if our Maverick needs a switch from a '75.

    Our mechanic said he could get us the part for about $200, and my friend said she could send me the part from an older model for $20. You can see why I'd like to know.
