i was at the wrecking yard today and found a nice set of 86 gt 15x7 ten holes, with very good tires. my question is will they fit on my 70 maverick. i have 4 lugs, did the mustang use the same bolt pattern ?. thanks again guys.

I wanted to do the same on my 71 but they dont fit for 2 reasons. First of all they are 4 1/4" bolt circle. We have 4 1/2. (what genious at Ford decided this?) Second, they have 5" backspacing. Way too much for a stock set up. I was going to make a set of adapters, even spent $75 on a 2" piece of aluminum, but havent gotten around to it yet.
