    Does anyone know if an 89 HO 5.0 will mate up with a '71 C4 or do I need to get an adapter? Also, does anyone know where to get said adapter?

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    ALL 5.0/302 from the first ones in the '68 model year till the last '01 have same bolt pattern... You will need a 157 tooth 50oz flexplate as the balance is different(later transmissions use 164T flexplate)......
