guy up the street from me killed his ford ranger last month and its just been sitting idle in the drive way since the flat bed droped it off. it does have some pretty cool lookin aftermarket rims on it. they look like (fake) aluminum bead lock racing rims. i was thinking of aproaching the owner about them. he could probably use a few extra $$ anyway. and if there a match i could give him my maverick's rims just so he could at least have a roller.

I've seen stock Ranger wheels on Mavs but they were used with wheels spacers. I tried them on mine, but they wouldn't fit on the front without spacers. Too much back spacing if I remember.

The 14x6s fit. The 15x7s have something like a 5-inch backspace, which won't work, unless you can get the right spacers and long enough studs...

I have a 71 4 door comet. A few years back the driver side shock tower rotted out, sence then I have gutted the car and have been rebuilding it.
Does anyone know the wheel size I need?

I have a 71 Comet with 11” front disks off of a 75 Maverick (not 100% on the year). My original 14” rims were the smaller 5 bolt pattern so I picked up a set of used 17” mustang rims. The rims fit the bolt pattern but the inside bead of the rim rubs agents the upper control arm unless I have about ¾” spacing in there. Does anyone know the proper wheel size or a modern car I can get wheels for that will work? Thanks
