    If keeping the four lug axles, be aware the bolt circle changed when the Mustang II came out. Ford wheels from late'70s on are different than what came on the car.

    I got bit in the butt by that once myself ... ;)

    "got bit in the butt by that once myself ..."

    .. all 8" centers will swap (AFAIK) but 4 lug and 5 lug axles use different axle bearing sizes so 4 and 5 lug - 8" axles don't swap out.

    ... typical passenger car - Ford OEM wheels ( 4 and 5 lug) use different center hub opening size, mounting lands, and different 'offsets' with Disc brake available years of mfg. . Mopar uses same 5 bolt pattern with smaller center hub size. 5 X 4.5" (in general)
