Yes ... I did not remove any components of the factory Sync system ... I just removed all the audio system buttons and hacked the face plate to fit the tablet. I left all the Climate control buttons intact.

I am using CoPilot app for the Navigation, PowerAmp app for Music and built-in video player for Video. The tablet is paired via Bluetooth with Ford SYNC ... when I switch to BLUETOOTH AUDIO all audio from the apps is sent through Bluetooth. As shown in the videos track changes and volume is all controlled from the Steering Wheel.

CoPilot even turns off the Music when giving directions and then turns music back ... just like a Nav HU would do.

The Navigation works fine ... Dash primarily plastic I suppose. Lots of people attach their GPS to powerpoint or dash vents and they work fine ... don't need to be on the windshield. Also ... I have Ceramic Tint on my car ... which is supposed to be GPS friendly.

I guess I need to try a different Nav APP, Ive been using the the Sprint Navigation APP on my phone and it dosnt work with Sync. Good to know something does, thats the main reason I wanted the Sync system, for bluetooth link and to use my phones GPS.
