If so, are they available for a 73? If not, can I interchange the fiberglass fenders from another year? Also, what about that front bumper on the 73? Looking to knock the weight of a 73 down...if I end up getting a 73.

If it makes any difference there will be a M II front end on it as well....try to lose the front end weight because of the 460 going into it. It has aluminum heads, and an aluminum tunnel ram. No AC, no PS, battery WILL be located to the trunk. H2O pump will also be aluminum if not electric.

I figure with the aluminum headed/intake w/o the acessories will put the weight down close to an all iron 302 with the accessories--with the battery in the front. With the fiberglass front end and everything listed I am very confident the weight will be less. Thank you much.

    Will go onto a 73?

    how about fixing that crack??

And the 73? I plan on getting rid of the 73 bumper and putting on my bro's F250 :)

The crack has been glassed in on the bottom. The gel coat needs filled in on the top. The only difference between Mav fenders of any year is the notch for the bumper. I had these on my '70 before I redid the whole body.

hope you're not disappointed on the weight issue. a 302 used to weigh about 450-500 lbs. if i remember right, a steel 460 is close to 750. aluminum heads and intake might shave 150 lbs.

Maverick Connection does have all the stuff you need, if you don't mind paying higher prices. You can get all the stuff that is available from other places at more reasonable prices. But hey, it's your money!! :D
