    Just an update, we now have a pavilion ready for our mini meet in Toad Suck Park. The drag strip will be open Saturday night if you want to test and tune or race, its $10.00 a person, I may try for a time slip myself. lol. We start bout 8 am, all are welcome, family atmosphere, bring the kids ,plenty of room for parking.and we gona cook up a storm...hope to see you all there....Fun should be had by all...Jim(y)

    Just for clarification, the dragstrip charges 10.00 to run your car and 5.00 for spectators. Kids under 12 are free, TNT starts at five and runs till seven or so and then classes start. Hope you all can come up that afternoon and have some fun for awhile. Is not a Memphis track but a local family owned facilitie. You can wonder the pits and get real close to the starting line for pic's if you care too. Just got home from there and am a bit tired so will relay the results of our endeavors later.

    "Oh Ye of little faith" I hear ya Street.I had my mav about a month before I drove it from memphis to commerce ga and back, great trip. Course your car may be more of a 1/4 mile car while mine is a daily driver...is your car light blue by any chance? Anyway if you get the chance come on down, be glad to meet you. Or let me know where you live and I'll drive over and introduce myself...see ya...Jim(y)

    I'm still working on it. I don't think I will be finished with the motor by then. I have not made up my mind on 1.6 or 1.7 rockers. No the Monsta is light blue its like an dark gray/greenish color.

    Anybody thinkin on runnin at the drag strip at our mini meet at Toad Suck mini meet. The more I think about it I may run just to get a baseline to work from even though it might make me sad, lol. I have alot of plans for MavasaurusRex (Rex). Yall come on down...its a known fact that tire smoke makes people want to drive fast. [​IMG]bring your cameras flash off a few shots [​IMG]bring a lawn chair catch some rays [​IMG]don't sit at home bored and sleepy [​IMG]bring your wives, girl friends, etc...kids, everybody welcome.
