Yea, I noticed that after I looked at the picture. White sucks. I need to do a major clean anyway in a couple of weeks for the Silver Spring event down in FL.

Awsome lookin motor. Is it going through that grabber hood? If your running alot of compression That underdrive pully might cause a cooling problem when ideling.

Thanks , That picture is about a year old. The engine had 12.8 to
1 compression, and with a 4 row brass radiator it had no overheating problems.

I sorta cut that post short  To better answer your question ...No I didnt cut my Grabber hood, and I never will!
I have a flat hood thats cut but it needs some paint before I bolt it on. I`ve sold the short block and the 2 holley 600`s from the engine in the picture(it ran VERY well with that set up tho.)
and have since built a 5.0 roller engine with 10.2 to 1 compression
that looks exactly like the engine in the picture did ,but it has 2 450 holleys and a milder cam I`ll be firing it up before new years day :D I also have a Summit aluminum radiator now and the old 4 row brass one is going into my `70 Daily driver project car.

By the way are you the same D.hines in Atlanta who had the yellow Grabber a few years back? I have a picture I took at Fun Ford weekend at Commerce,Man that was a top notch sweet car!

fyi you will need to convert to a floor shifter if you have a standard auto colum shifer in your maverick

No Maverick Man they are also listed with P.A.W. `s catalogue as
6901 ... I dont have the catalogue handy right this minute but I think that the complete part number for the headers with the coating is 6901-1
