On my recently inherited '72 grabber project car, I noticed the front passanger quarter panel and passenger door are both from a comet not a grabber. Looking forward to my restoration, aside from the extra chrome trim that I have to remove, are they actually the same body panels? Or are they similar and fit both cars, but have subtle differences that will look bad once all fixed up?

Maverick and Comets used the same sheet metal, except for the hoods, and tail light panels. You can get into differences like, front bumpers, stone guards, grills, and emblems, but other than that, they are the same.
