    71 Maverick
    Are 65-73 mustang drum spindles the same as the 71 maverick's? I found a kit for the 65-73 to convert to 94 and up cobra calipers. Just wondering.

    '73 Maverick 2-door, V-8
    I know that the '73 Mustang front drums are the same. Not 100% sure about the spindles though...

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    NO they are not.... but some mounting areas are the same such as where the adapters go to mount the caliper on aftermarket brakes. but other mounts are differant. just depends on the kit.
