Will they fit in a Maverick with out too much modification? I found a set in good condition for $75 with tracks. Is this a good deal?

$75.00 for a good set of 73 Mustang seats is a great deal plus you can still get seat covers for them from the Mustang vendors. As far as making them fit it would be easier with Maverick seat tracks but heck you can make anything fit with a little thought and some abilities

$75!? Go for it, the total cost of changing/modifying your car or the seats to fit will be far less than pretty much anything else.

The seat frames and foams from a 73 Stang are identical parts to the early Maverick buckets. Only the covers are different. Well, the tracks are different too.
They would go in best with a set of Maverick tracks bolted to them, but can go in with the Stang tracks. My uncle did it, but the seats are offset towards the doors. They aren't centered to the 'cockpit', so to speak. If you sit in the driver's seat, you notice the steering wheel is lined up a bit to your right from center.

If you drill new mounting holes, make sure to take pains to reinforce the floorpan so you are safer in an accident.
