    Who has swapped in bucket seats from another car with good results? What did ya use? How? I saw maverickmans Cobra seats. Sweet! Any others?

    b brad 73, i just used 74' mav. seats in mine. i was wondering if you were comming to the mini meet sat. at ffw in commerce, ga....frank...:bananaman :bananaman

    bucket Seats revisted

    Sounds good IF I can find a set! Yeah, plans have changed, looks like I'll be coming. Bringing my 14 year old son, after all it's his Maverick.

    I used '75 Granada buckets in my '75 Maverick. They were a direct bolt-in. Remember though that newer Mav seat tracks won't fit older Mav floor pans.

    The difference in the floorpan starts with the 75 model right? first year with cats and the bump in the floorpan to accomidate?

    i ended up using bucket seats from an 86 mustang lx.had to redrill 3 holes add 2 shims and they look like they were put in from the factory.

    Brad; I used seats from a '96 Honda Civic. Lots of work to get them in, but they are very comfy, and look good too. I just used channel iron to make mounts and Mav runners. See you Sat.

    1973 2dr Maverick 302c my other car got stolen!!
    mine are from some mazada i dont know what year or what kind. picked up both of them for $100
    i just pulled some track from a 93 ford ranger and hooked them up and screwed them to the floor i know its not the smartest thing to do but i needed seats becuse the guy took his out befor he sold me the car

    I used Ford Probe buckets. Had to modify flat stock to the tracks to make them work. Not an easy mod, lots of time and headaches.
