Get well soon Joe Joe...maybe a cough drop will help.
Post a pic of your boat when ya get a chance!
Why don't ya just do this and everybody will be happy?
well said .
I wish I understood the whole Ford v. Chevy thing. If this was the 70's and/or I was a NASCAR fan I might get it, but in today's context it just seems silly. Can't we just band together and hate on Hondas or something? Both companies have made great cars, and both have made some absolute abominations.
i was all set to do a two stroke brigs and straten swap. too many haters, so ill leave it alone.
all kidding aside, your car your cash, do as you please. but for the money, stroker that bolts right in, i dont know how you can not consider that option.
Hell, man, just wait 'til I have some real work space, disposable income and some welding skills. This forum's gonna see its first all-electric Maverick.
EXACTLY!!! This is why we are getting our ass's kicked by the imports. We need to start thinking American/Canadian not just Ford or Chev. We are riding a life boat down the drain and we are paddling to go faster! If anyone has ever asked me if I'm a ford or a chevy guy my answer is I'm an North american guy. I have to admit I'm not much of a Dodge guy But you will never catch me owning anything Import.
They aren't Mavericks but still pretty damn impressive
BINGO! yeah what he said.
Same here. I prefer to own domestic cars, and they are by far my favorites. I like all of the Big 3. (Although I don't like all they've produced. They have all made plenty of things I hate. And I don't necessarily like they way all of them are run or have been run in the past.)
I don't hate imports, but I do hate front-wheel drive so that pretty much means I hate most of them. Classic Datsun Z's and RX-7's are great cars, and of course there are some stunningly beautiful English cars out there even if they are engineered for sh*t. (Thus elevating Shelby to legendary status - take that beautiful English car, whip the England out of it and you have something fantastic, the Cobra.)
Now, I would never buy an import new, but if a used RWD car from the other side of the world somehow tempted me to stray from domestics, I wouldn't feel guilty about purchasing one. If I bought it in America, from an American, and my money didn't go overseas then I'm not hurting anything.
Any new car I buy for the foreseeable future though will likely be a Ford. Chrysler's not really an American company anymore and GM has a whole lot of my respect to win back before I'll consider cutting them a check. (I kinda do that already with my taxes.)
Why is this in the project section to begin with? It's not like anything has been done.....
It is in the planning and procurement stage - it is definitely a project.
Maybe if the complainers and haters would stop posting we would hear about more details.
That sounds like a complainers Statement to me.
Posts have been removed in the past, since there is no real work being done....Once the wrenches are turning...then it a project, up until then it's just general discussion....
