Bumper strips

    Would bumper strips from a Pinto or Mustang fit a 1973 Maverick? Are any rubber bumper strips (from any Ford model) interchangeable with a 1973 Maverick front or rear?

    It's a piece of black rubber that fits into holes in the front or rear bumper. It was a deluxe option. It takes a set of about 5 rubber strips to go from one end of the bumper to the other. I banged up the front strip on the driver's side, and I'm looking for a center strip for the rear bumper.

    I'm not 100% sure, but I would think they would be the same. Maybe the other can help on this(y)

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I would say they are Maverick Specific....especially since 1973 was a one year only thing.
