So i have the 76 up from georgia, I have some mechanical stuff to tiddy up but Its daily driver ready.

Im looking for details on the early small bumper swap, front and back. Let me say, Im looking to do everything possible in fiberglass, possibly even grafting in fiberglass quarters since my plans involve modifying the fenders and the repairs made before i got the car left way too much plastic in the rear. Im a bit confused on what all parts are actually glass from up22 (they seem to be my prefered source so far). And secondary from showcars-bodyparts

I already have a glass comet GT hood, so on with the questions:

What is a gravel pan? is it needed for a 70-72 bumper swap?

Are the parts on up22 that arent listed as fiberglass made from steel?

What parts are necessary to convert a 76 to a 70-72 bumper? keep in mind im interested primarily in fiberglass, and I can probly make my own brackets easier than trying to scavenge them.

The front of the car has been hit, and while it looks to be straight, i dont trust much of anything, much less the body panels so they're comming off for the project.

ive heard good things about the bumpers from MAS. i think there $80 each. maverick man on this board can probably hook you up with the best hood (glass or carbon fiber) and grabber 1/4 extensisons (glass or c/f) on the market. any graven pan will work 69-73, maverick comet, 2dr or 4dr. you also need a gravel pan for the rear. aside from that you'll need to make the brackets like you said. it probably wont be easier but if you have the means it will be cheaper.
