C5OZ- 7976-A or D7BZ- 7976-A or D3BZ- 7976-A are the part numbers that came on the 73-77 Mavericks.

Mavit, Is there any reason you need a bellhousing from a Maverick?

I built a V8 Ranger using the engine & transmission from a '73 Grabber. There are other 157 tooth C4 bellhousings that were used in other cars that should work as well.

I believe there are two basic V8 C4 bellhousing sizes, 157 tooth flywheel (case-fill) & 164 tooth (pan-fill). *There was a small oddball 143 tooth for the Mustang II

'64 & '65 pieces are for the early 5-bolt blocks, but any other 157 tooth case-fill C4 bellhousing should fit. There are some that have additional bosses for mounting a shift cable and such, but are the same physical size.

'65 was the first year for the 6-bolt block. The '63 5-bolt blocks had a 160 tooth. Some, but not all, 64's got the 157 tooth.
