can some one help me identify my intake manifold

    i didnt want to start a new thread so il ask here can some one help me identify my intake manifold i think its a 302 or it can be a 289 ...?? whats the difference and if there is can you help me out .. the casting numbers are RF-EODE-9425-AB i would like to throw it on my 77 4 dr maverick.

    Hey, I'm sorry but, I really don't know and I would hate to give you the wrong info. I'm sure there is somebody out there that does know.

    Looks like it was off a 1980 car, like a Granada or Monarch. It is will work, but it is probably set up to use a EGR valve system.

    289 and 302 use the same intakes. Without seeing a picture of it, it's really hard to say with 100% certainty it's a 302 intake. Those are the engineering or casting numbers, not the actual part number. And there were no factory Hi-po parts made at that time to give it some kind of history that many would use in identify it.
