    I found a set of racing mirrors at a local junk yard on a 1974 Mustang II are they going to be the same as the mav 75 mirrors? They sure do look like a fit, but the guy wants $100. bucks and I didn't want to take a chance until I checked with you guys. Thanks" the Catlady"

    Maverick specific sport mirrors can be easily had for 100 bux.
    I'd say that fitting the Stang 2 mirrors might be worthwhile if you get them cheap. However, if you are paying the same premium for them as the actual Maverick part, just get the right part and be done with it.

    Stang 2 mirrors are about the only non-Maverick mirror that will work, but it's still not a direct swap.
