i'v got the 72 mav and my passenger door is junk so i was wondering how alike the comet doors are since i'm new to the maverick and comet world and honestly have never stood beside a comet.. there are 2 mav's where i live and 0 comets... anyone able to gimme a little bit of insight, please and thank you very much.
I have a 76 comet and had a 74 and 73 maverick. I was going to put the 74 doors on my Comet. I looked close at them and looked to me like they were the same. I sold the 74 before I hacked it up too bad so I never did do the swap.
The doors are Identicle between the Mav and Comet...The only difference being the innner door handle was relocated in 73 and changed in designe.

I have Maverick Doors for sale. I have some maverick doors for sale both are in very good condition. They are grabber doors so they have the duel sport mirrors.
Don't forget though that most Comets have a curved trim strip on the door that does not match any Mavericks. My 75 is the base exterior trim and it has the strip.
