Just wanted to know if the Comet small bumper splash pan is the same as the Maverick small bumper splash pan. I put the small front bumper on my Comet and wanted to change the splash pan to the correct one. Thanks

They look the same, not sure if the Comet has any weird mounting points or not.

derek_urbanek_71_gt.jpg Its hard to see mine on the large bumper, but you can see the pan on Derek's Comet. They are defferent between the small and large bumper. The small stays inside the headlights wile the large curves outside the headlights. If that makes any sense.

The rear valances are the same from 70-73 on both cars, however the front valance is different. Well not betweent the two cars, but between the years, the 70-72 is the small bumper valance and the 73 is a one year only to accommodate the change in one year only front bumper, the lack of turn lamps below the bumper and the difference in the notched front bumper and the 73-74 non-notched front bumper.

Did I muddy that up enough or what???
