I've seen several posts stating that the floor pans from the 1965~1970 Mustang will fit in the Maverick / Comet with a bit of trimming...

This is the closet supplier to me can, you please provide clarification of which one I need for the driver side floor pan...

I don't know if it's the long or short LH pan I need.

Depends on how much of your pan needs to be replaced. The short one seems to be too short, and the long one is good if you are going from front to back. I would personally get the long one...This gives you plenty of extra material to work with. Your in Ontario, so this is your best bet for proximity. You can get the pieces cheaper but... once you tack on shipping/customs and all the other stuff, you will be in the same ball park anywhoo.Good luck!!!
Upon further inspection... I would get the long front pan PN# M107LH.

Wow, that's about twice as much as they sell for at National Part Depot.
I bought the long ones, and cut them down.

Thanks for the insight guys, I have not actually got out to see the extent of the damage to the existing floor board yet (its getting it's safety right now and the damage to the floor was not anticipated) so I don't know the extent of the replacement only that there is a large hole on the drivers side floor pan. I realize the price is quite a bit higher than other places but without the shipping and local pickup it is kinda close.

Also I will check out National Parts Depot...
