two ways buy a conversion kit at your local autoparts store(petronix sell a great one for $80) or get the dizzy, ignition module, coil and bracket, off a 75 and up 302(be sure not to get the TFI one) i like the conversion kit its alot easier than the other one and its all contained in your stock dizzy's cap.
What he said... I just wanted to add a link to some info if you try the stock electronic route: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=42319 It's a little more involved than a Pertronix, but IMO it's worth it. Oh yeah, the Pertronix 2 has had some tech problems from what I am reading online. Pertronix 1 is tried and true.
That is interesting, haven't heard of a problem. I've had my Ignitor ll for about 5yrs without a problem. What kind of problems did they have? Thanks,
do a search for...pertronix... i have been using a ...pertronix...style for past 20+ years....2, 4, 6 and 8 cyl. cars, trucks and motorcycles. ......
