cooling fan

    hi all i need some help i have been looking and no about the 6 blade tigerfan for the 250 6 cyl with air i have 3 of those but i just took apart a 76 comet 250 6 cylinder with air car and it has a 7 YES 7 blade factory fan with aluminum fins 45,000 mile original car # are cf-dide 8600-ba
    7 blade can any one tell me how rear this is? as i have never seen a 7 blade on a 250 6 cylinder factory car, like i said i have 3 6 blade tigers what do i have here? thats in advance

    that is the fan i have in my hand that is it to the t wonder what is is worth?

    apparently you didn't check it good enough because it should be

    CF-D1DE 8600-BA


    Australian 6cyl stuff is expensive....now the real question is do you have an Australian 250 head? :)

    is the intake and exhaust on the same side? if so then its just a regular American piece. If they're on the opposite sides then its an aussie piece.

    Ford didn't use the letters i or o in the part numbers...They used numbers 1 and 0

    hey, it's a common error that folks usually make once. No big deal.
    The Australian head has a removeable intake manifold - check to see if yours is a bolt on or cast in head/intake manifold. The head is worth a lot of money!
