Cummins or Powerstroke....choose wisely

I voted for the Powerstroke, but am very biased. I have a 2000 F-350 that I ordered and it just passed 329,000 miles with only normal maintenance items. Valve covers have never been off the engine, change the oil every 5,000 miles and fuel filter about every 30,000 miles. Had 2 others for a while, but I "needed" a Mav and didn't have enough room for everything

 

well a little over a week ago i caused great tragedy to the nv4500 5sp that's behind my cummins so ive spent the last 10 days or so building a replacement trans which should be back in the truck before this wknd

 

i like the 12 valve, ive had 3 in 19yrs the last 1 i still have and had it for 14yrs,it get 22 mpg on the hy with a automatic and 3.55 gears its a 96 2500 single cab 2 wd,before this i had a 93 same type truck got 30 mpg ,it had a toque plate,exhaust,some fine tuning,and automatic

 

Hmm how bad did you kill that nv4500? I really want one for my CJ.....
