    ok... then maybe I was confused...easy thing do as I get older. I was under the impression that the cost for the part and shipping to John was 35 + shipping, if its only $35.00 then I'm ok, I just didn't want anyone to be short on the money.thanks

    Sounds like a good deal. My cap is original (I think) and it's not cracked, but it has some deforming going on. Just to have a spare cap at a good price is insurance I think. If it's not too late (I haven't been on the boards), put me down for one cap (do these come in Black?). Please let me know the details, and where to send the $ to.
