difference in finders ??

    is there a difference between fenders from 70-75 mav will comet ones work

    for a 72 maverick

    All fenders should work, but later ones (73+) will need to be notched for the front bumper if used on an earlier car.

    All the fenders are the same, with one exception 70,71,72,and I think 73..Had a notch cut in them to except the small bumper filler. 74 thru 77 did not have the notch...

    Yup, thinking about it some more ... 74s + should need a notch for use on an earlier car.

    Headlight buckets and how they mount are also different.

    70-72 have the notch
    73-74 dont have the notich, but have the same headlight adjustments and bezel
    75-77 doesnt have the notch either, and the headlight adjustments/bezels are different


    but physically, they'll interchange and will work with some minor mod's

    Great info...had that question in mind also as I need front fenders for my 72 4-door Tiauana Taxi (spelling?) project.
