if it has solid floors and other such things then in my opionion it is worth fixing that thing is a 2 door and an early 50's merc. i see lead slead. i wish i could drag something like that home for free. but i did drag my grandfathers 36 studebaker home and it's in worse shape i would have to say.

Here in Pa state, if car is semi-cut up, no title required. May want to talk to local scrappers and explain all to see what can be done.

    Neat find and story again!

up here, no joke, people would be STEALING cars out of peoples yards and scrapping them...people steal even metal gates and junk off of other peoples property, cause they dont need a title for that! :yup:

Sell it on eBay as a parts car, that way no title required. Just make sure to list it in the parts car section, and say "no papers" instead of "no title". That way eBay won't pull it for saying anything about the title, and the fees are lower on parts cars than if you sold it in a regular listing. I'd price it for what it would bring in scrap, then let it get bid up from there. Lots of parts there would be usable to someone looking for them. Just think how hard it is to find Maverick parts. Mercury parts of that age are probably nearly impossible to find.
