I am looking for a distribution block for manual disc brakes for a 1974 maverick. Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can get one?

Might want to check Craig Selvey, he has most everything in his stockpile of Maverick stuff.

Tell us why you want one. I suspect you might not need it.

It had drum brakes and I changed to disc brakes & was told I need to change the distribution block & master cylinder because it would put to much pressure on the disc brakes. what to be sure before I install it.

Most have never had a problem with the prop valve / distribution block.

You will need to change the master cylinder.

Craig is correct. Only need to swap master cylinder. The residual check valve is located in the MC...not in the proportioning valve

I don't think '74 models had proportioning valves (even with the front disc option). I think '75 was the first year for that. In any case, it's the master cylinder that you need. Just get one for a '74 with the front disc option. The fittings "should" be the same.
