    Wonder if it had the CSI water pump when he ran it? ;)
    I seem to remember it originally having a Moroso deal where the little electric motor runs the water pump belt.
    One thing is for sure, the CSI looks much better.

    I think that people should have been able to check the right box on the order sheet and get a new Maverick/Comet with a 427 SOHC from the factory!

    Damn, wonder what kind of mods they did to the upper control arms in order to move the shock towers and springs out that far? Did you get any pics of the front suspension Dan?

    I'd be willing to wager a small sum that they used Boss 429 parts, or at least used them as a pattern.

    Ahh, yea you're probably right. I'll have to crawl up under my grandpa's Boss 429 and get a look at the front suspension. Never paid much attention to it when I was putting a new starter on it last year.

    Knowing the state of drag racing technology at the time, I would bet it has a Falcon Station Bus straight axle under there.
