I have one of those I picked up for my son about 5 years ago, I didn't have a Maverick then. I also have a white one but the windows are open with no posts at all and it has black tires with kidney bean type mags. I bought the white one at a local flea market here and the dukes car at a Walgreens Drug Store in their 99 cent section.

    Maverick toy

I have one too. Its the race car verson. A red Maverick with larger wheels and tires on the back, a chrome blower in the hood and Ford, Maverick and Autolite decals on it. It is cool! I wonder how many different ones there were. When I was a kid I also had a '67 Cougar and a '66 Mustang that were like it.

I bought an orange Processed Plastics one off ebay a few months back, $6.99. The listing didn't mention Maverick so I almost missed it. I was looking for something else and it popped up, lucky me!

Maverick Dukes Clone Car For Sale

    Hi Guys,

I've got one of those "dukes" type processed plastic cars for sale if anyone is interested. It's orange with the duke flags and in front of the confederate flag is a sticker that says rebel. Good shape with all the tires and wheels, chrome wheels and bumpers.Shows some wear as it has been played with at one time. The front bumper, the chrome has worn off it a bit but still not bad. Also looks like someone did some glueing on the underside to hold the seat plastic part in. Cool collectable. $20.00 plus shipping.

I also produce custom watches, you can check them out at www.drivetimewatches.com Do you think there is enough interest for a comet/maverick watch and any suggestions on what should be put on the watch face?
    Thanks,
    Brad

We pick these up on eBay quite often for less than $10...mine is near mint for $6.00.

wow, had no idea they go for that cheap, I don't think I'd sell it for anything less than $10.00, it's too cool.
