Hey, I am swapping my old Maverick rear end and putting a 9 inch in. I was wondering for those of you that have done such a swap if you were able to use the E-bake cables from the old rear end and just transfer them over or if you have to use different ones? Any info would help. Thanks

i haven't actually done it, but supposedly everything but the center section of the 8" will swap onto the 9" assuming the bearing size and bolt hole dimensions match up. 8" uses the "small" 9" pattern to mount the backing plate.everything such as backing plates and cables should switch over.

Mine just swaped right over i had to make the wire a bit tighter buy taking about an inch off but it swapped right in for me. I think the resone i had to take a bit off mine was just because the cable broke out of one of the guides.
