    Will front fenders from a '70 fit a '75? I need 2 fenders and I know where there's a '70 parts car for free.

They will fit, but they have a notch cut out in the front of them where the small bumpers go. I would go ahead and get the car though, dont pass freebies up, you can get the parts you need off of it and then sell what evers left for lower prices to help others out too.

well if they have a notch in them, they're useless to me. I may get the car anyway...I could still use the right side door.

Then I'll still have to get some fenders somewhere.

Oooh. Have you thought about looking for a small front bumper to fit those 70' fenders instead?

I assume the bumper on the freebie '70 is not in that great of shape?

I dunno. Most people prefer the smaller bumpers - to each their own, though.

    Or just fill the notches

I thought about using the parts car bumpers. The rear one is shot. Front one is rusty, but could be blasted & painted. But, I prefer the big bumpers myself. Once I get the car done, you'll see why. They just look better, IMO when done right.

Sell the 70 parts to pay for parts for your car.

The door on the 70 uses different interior panels than yours. Also, if safety is a concern, the 70 doors do not have any safety reinforcements required on later year models. If you are out to loose weight though, the 70s are lighter for this same reason.

Concerning the fenders, swap them with a big bumper guy that is doing the small bumper swap on his car. That way neither of you have to mod your fenders.

    Good luck
    Dave
