I´ve just installed my ebrake on my car because the past owner removed it but when i pull on the hand brake it seems to break loose, it does not stay in position. I wanted to see if you may have photos for the ebrake system as well as the hand brake mechanism because when i´ve looked fot the hand mechanism on the internet it seemed to have a litte pulley where you attach it to the fire wall and mine doesnt have it as well as the others i have seen on junkyards.

Thank you, i just want to finally get mi ebrake working.

Thanks, i think mine got broken by the past owner. Would you know if that pulley makes it easier to pull the hand brake?

It is 100% a needed part. Without it the cable will either not provide tension or will bind and be useless. It can be easily replaced from a donor car. There is a clevis pin and clip that holds it in.

I would also check the notches on the rod, the one out of my car has a lot of garbage built up in them from years of neglect. Here's the pulley for reference.

    Yes I have the parts.

You also need the little "flapper" that goes in the grooves and holds the e-brake whn you have pulled it out. Twist the handle to release.

See me email address (below) it I can help
