    One would thought Ford would have gone with a variant of the '68-'71 Falcon, Torino, Cyclone style dash that the complete upper pad is removable for access...

    I used one like Frank's when it was carbureted, I modified the hose routing when I did the AC and now I use a Ranger/Explorer valve. It allows coolant to circulate back to the water pump when vacuum is applied and through the core with no vacuum. (default flow)
