explorer 8.8 rear end bracket welding install pictures

    Just got my Explorer alum shaft back from the ds shop...the rear of the shaft was already set up for the 8.8 cause of the explorer rear it came with..i had them fit it with a yoke for my t5 and a new 1330 u joint..its ready to bolt on now

    Shaft didn't fit..so much for the internet being right..if it was a t5 and the stock 8 inch rear it prob would but with my 8.8 and t5 the yoke goes all the way I'm and Is barely too long to bolt up..it needs inch and half to 2 inch shortening

    this drive shaft is up for sale complete and ready to run. the length is 54 and 3 quarters inch long not including the yoke... will fit a 65 66s Mustang.with A t5 or c4 and stock 8 inch rear not 8.8

    Flynbrd do you have photos? I’m about to do this swap and worried about floor pan clearance since my car is lowered 2 inches in the back. I’m running early Bullitt wheels and don’t want spacers.
