I found a f100 302 and am curious if it will relatively simply(for an engine swap) be put into my maverick. I have the 200 cyl i6 and from what i can find see that i will need different transmission etc. but is there enything exceptional because it comes from a f100?

there is nothing special about a 302 in a f100. it probly has the wrong oil pan. so that would have to be changed. the accessorys should work. the fan and spacer are probly too big to fit in the mav. you would need the maverick motor mounts and frame stands. the exhast manifolds probly wont work either.

you are also gunna need the v8 belly bar and v8 foot pedal but you can get the oil pan off a car with a 302 79 and older not counting fox bodys mustang fairmont ect.
