Does the early Falcon export brace fit the Maverick? I read on another board that it does and has anyone on here tried this? I know the Mustang piece needs shortening. Thanks.

Early Falcon export brace doens't come off...is welded to the car. The shock towers are lower too.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
I don't think the mid year ones would fit either, the towers are way more spaced out than the mavericks:

I was referring to the one piece brace for 60-65 falcons that is on ebay and also available from dearborn auto classics. Has anybody tried that one? Thanks. Dave.

My daily driver is a 1970 maverick
    export brace

I recently bought an after market export brace for my mav from a board member. Its pretty sweet. If you prefer stock ill be getting rid of mine in a few weeks when I get time to swap them.

I have the stock Maverick shock tower braces but I prefer the Mustang style (Falcon) Export brace because it is one piece. The Mustang piece needs to be shortened but my question is does the one piece Falcon export brace fit the Maverick?

If it helps any...the 60-65 Falcon is 34.42" wide at the center of the shock tower
    The Mustang is 34.4375"
    A Maverick is 30.81"
