I went to look at two 4 door comets yesterday (1977) to hopefully get some seat rails (thought the cars were scrap) but as I got looking closer the one has perfect fenders. My question is will these fenders fit on my 76 Maverick (2 door) without any modification? On a side note I also found a 2 door Maverick with one good fender and a 2 door comet with perfect weather stripping :bananaman
The 77 fenders will fit with no modification required. The 72 fender will also fit but you will have to fill in about a 2"X3" notch where the stone guard comes through.
where did the 72' come into the pic.? i know the 77' will fit. i didn't see a 72' anything....frank... p.s. dennis have you been the nog???
Must be reverse hallucinogenics. I saw the 2 and added the 7. The 70's was a great time but the flashbacks can be a problem from time to time.
