I was at pull-a-parts yesterday and seen a nice looking spolier. It was on a ford festiva(at least I think it was a festiva). even has a brake light LOL. The price was right ($10) so I decided to juss try it. When I placed it on the trunk, it looked real good. The only thing I dont like is it juss pushes in, no bolts or screws, it's just plastic push pins holding on to the trunk lid. Has anyone here tried using a spoiler from a less than sporty car? I think it will look good as long as I put a lil riser under it. Just a thought. BTW!!! If anyone on the list is looking for ford Galxey parts, I seen one with lots of chrome in pretty darn good condition. Just let me know.
Pics I could get you some pics of the spoiler, but not the galaxy till atleast tuesday afterall it is at the "pull-a-part" place. But the lady there LOVES me, and normaly when I get a bunch of stuff she just charges like between $0-20.
I meant the spoiler sitting on your car. I have no idea what that spoiler looks like. I was just curious how it looks on the Mav.... -Corbin
Pics the one thats tall, is about the height i wanna raise it to, but I had to use towels to get the effect, I wont install it for about another couple weeks, and will post more when I do.
That looks "okay" but it's not quite wide enough. You should try a '82-'92 Firebird spoiler. They actually look best on the big-bumper Mavericks/Comets. I think the Grabber "ducktail" looks the best on the small bumper cars but if I couldn't find one, I'd certainly settle for a Firebird spoiler...
Hey T.L. do you have any pics of the Firebird spoiler on a Mav, or know where to find a pic? Sound like it may look pretty cool.... -Corbin
No, unfortunately I don't...but I HAVE seen a pic of a Mav with a Firebird spoiler (I think it's even somewhere on this site and I think it was white). It really looks good and is actually about the right width...
I saw that maverick. I liked it enough to bookmark it. I looked in my book marks for his web site but cant find it.
