Found '66 fastback 'stang at the junkyard today

    That is awesome! Yea, there was also a '62 2 door Galaxy there in the junkyard today. It was in good shape, damn near rust free from what I saw. It could have made a nice driver with a quick clean up and some mechanical work. It was white with green interior. It had what I could only assume to be a 390 sitting in it. Was a big V8 with a 4V intake and THUNDERBIRD on the valve covers. Wish I would have got pictures of that car now, come to think of it.

    Andy, you got it reversed. It's the 8" that you can get the socket on --the 9" you can't. :)

    That's OK, I was tired last night when I read it. For a moment you had me convinced that I had an 8" instead of a 9". LOL!!:rofl:
