Need to know what all will interchange with a 77 2dr. Namely the windshield, bumpers (my 77's got the big ones, this one's got the small ones) Fenders, grill, gas tank. Whole car is straght, except for the hood, it's bent at both rear corners. Six banger, missing the head. Transmission is there as is the whole drinvetrain and suspension. Might use the rear springs for mine, if they're stiffer and will fit a 2 dr.

everything you listed should. The 72 will have a smaller tank so you will have to use the 72 straps.

I'm pretty sure (not positive) the leaf springs won't fit a 2 door. Don't think the drive shaft will either. Bumpers, fenders, windshield and all that will work.

I think that the springs with fit, but just wont be any stiffer. The 4 doors ride pretty soft.

hows the front lip on the hood? any rust. I'm convinced I may have to do some grafting to get a decent hood for a comet.

everything from the windshield forward is the same, along with the tail lights and rear bumper and valence. rear leafs will be the same but wont be any stiffer. driveshaft is different as it's about 6" londer than a 2dr shaft.

The front of the hood is fine as far as I know, but I never looked at the underside. The rear corners were bent up, looks like the hinges were screwed and some one forced the hood shut

If you can look at the front part of the hood from the hood latch forward and see what kind of shape it is in, I may be interested in that part of the hood. It can be cut into pieces to fit in a smaller box, i will be using it to graft onto another hood. Let me know if you are interested in doing that, and what it will cost me if it is entirely rust free.

I will if I get a chance to look at it later this week. I haven't yet decided on whether to buy the car or not. I don't need the parts that bad. But if anyone else wants to jump on it, I can put you in touch with the owner. He wants $300 for the whole car. No title. It is a roller and can be easily loaded on a trailer where it's at.
