    Are the doors the same for a Comet as they are for a Maverick? Four door car Maverick 1974.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    Just like with the two doors:

    1. The early doors had different arm rests.

    2. The handle to open the door was located in a different spot.

    3. The later doors were smooth on the inside instead of textured.

    Just some things to watch out for.
