Hello, I have a 73 maverick with a 250. One of the front coil springs is bent and causes the shock absorber to wear out. Also, the car origianlly had AC but that has been removed and I'd like the car to ride a bit lower anyway, so what is a good choice for replacement springs (I will do both) How can I get the specs to compare different springs, either other ford springs or otherwise?

you can check this sight out. They sell springs and can probably help you out with spring rates.

Just curious, how do you bend a coil spring in a manor that causes the shock to wear?
