Does anyone know if a 72 Maverick and 73 front valance are the same?

Nope, they are different. The 73 front valance is specific to 73 only. The 70-72 front valances are the same.

But they should bolt up just the same. The opening on the 73 is wider.

    Elliot,
Are you looking for a '73 valance? I have one that I might be willing to swap for a '70-72 valance. Get back to me if you're interested. John B.
