Are the Maverick Gas Caps intechable with each other throughout the years?

Also, why doesn't my emblem center properly. With the cap properly installed, the emblem is not level. Any suggestions?

    thanks

The fuel necks throughout the years were different. Some had the cap sticking out further. Some had different notches cut in it for the different tabs of the gas caps, etc. You just need to find the correct fuel neck to go with your cap.

    Craig,

I noticed this as well, is any rhyme or reason to the designs? Early model years vs. later model years?

I know that late model caps have more "tabs" on them that you have to mess with to get it engaged correctly.
