gas tank sending unit

    1973 ford mavrick good shape hope to be better
    i have a 73 maverick changing the gas tank found all i need but the sending unit been told one one makes one for the maverick got a 76 tank and straps what i want to know is there a sending unit from some other car that will work

    I'm looking for a sending unit for My '72 as well. Just want to see if maybe a mustang would work? or if anyone knows of a place that has a replacement part? Thanks.
